• Bucknell University combines the personal experience of a liberal arts college with first-class research facilities, global study opportunities and 110 fields of study. Our 3,600 students come from across the U.S. and 60 countries.As students advance through Bucknell, the Career Development Center helps them integrate their individual career goals with their varied academic and life experiences to set, and reach, their own unique professional development goals. Over 2000 jobs, internships, and externships are posted for students each year. Additionally, workshops and mock interviews, advising sessions with career counselors, and field trips help prepare students for the future.Nine months after graduation 97% of the Class of 2013 reported a postgraduate outcome. Based on our postgraduate survey and other information-gathering methods, 71% of the graduates were employed, 16% enrolled in graduate or professional school, 5% were both employed and enrolled in graduate school, 1% were volunteering and 4% were engaged in other activity. A total of 3% were still seeking employment or awaiting decision on graduate school admission. The employers with the most accepted offers include: Teach for America; PricewaterhouseCoopers; Deloitte; Clark Construction Group, LLC; T. Rowe Price, UBS; Bucknell University; Whiting-Turner Contracting Company; McGladrey; Geisinger Health System; Goldman Sachs; Epic Systems; Ralph Lauren; Bank of America; General Electric; Morgan Stanley. Following the trends of the marketplace, many graduates were hired by small to mid-size businesses throughout the Northeast.After graduation, students join nearly 50,000 Bucknell alumni worldwide in a vibrant, tight-knit community. Theyre welcomed back to campus as a member of the Bucknell family, and invited to join one of 37 alumni chapters and regional groups across the globe.
