- The four-time champion SoCal Coyotes are a California non-profit sports leadership organization that reshapes lives, homes and communities by Building Champions, Building Men. Its year-round faith, family and football leadership programs, community service and sports initiatives develop aspiring football athletes; equip and inspire at-risk youth; nurture single fathers and father figures; extoll the virtues of family values, positive fathering and family legacy; mentor young men into trusted corporate citizens with sustainable incomes; and is actively engaged each year in the lives of future generations throughout the Coachella Valley. the Coyotes viciously Defend the Shield of Faith, Family and Football, and rely on sustaining support from sponsors and private donors. More than 300 young men have matured in the Coyote program, with many advancing to camps in the National Football League, Canadian Football League and the Arena Football League. The SoCal Coyotes are the nations only non-profit sports leadership organization to field a professional football team, and were named Americas #1 Developmental Football Program by The Football Educator, operated by former Denver Broncos GM and two-time Super Bowl winner Ted Sundquist. On the field, 70 players annually earn the distinction of Defending the Shield in the uniform of the SoCal Coyotes. Many will graduate each year into professional football or local careers. Off the field, in Coachella Valley public schools alone, 30,000 students annually participate in Coyote Leadership Training and receive published Coyote Leadership Curriculum. The Coyotes raise funds and donate thousands of dollars annually that affect every desert community. Coyote programs reach thousands of youth through coordinated efforts with numerous local charitable and civic organizations, including Boys & Girls Clubs, the YMCA, the Desert Strength Academy, the Boys & Girl Scouts of America, and Rotary International.
