- Hassouneh Group is a privately Owned business that started in Ramallah - Palestine in the 1960's as steel traders in the West Bank and Gaza, and due to the increasing demand in Iron and Steel Products in the local and international markets, the family business lead by Eng. Yacoub Hassouneh has grown from steel traders to steel producers extending their presence to neighboring Jordan as well, with a total capacity of 300,000 Tons/ Year of different steel products such as; 1- Reinforcement steel bars (8mm-32mm) Grade 40 and 60 2- Mesh Welded sheets with a thickness of 5.5mm and 7.5mm 3- Cold Rolled Coils 5.5mm and 7.5mm 4- Straightened steel bars 5.5mm / 6m. In 2007 we along with our partners established a MeltShop Plant in Jordan, producing Standard Grade Steel Billets, with a capacity of 250,000tpy. Later that year we had an agreement with our partner to sell our shares in the mentioned Meltshop. Starting in March 2008 RAMCO a part of Hassouneh Group, has started establishing a complete complex intended to produce - Square Billets, Mesh Welded sheets, Cut & Bend, and straightened bars with a total capacity of 400,000 Tons/Year in Jordan.
