• Presbyterian Day School (PDS) is one of the nation's leading independent schools for boys. Founded in 1949 as a Christian school and located in Memphis, Tennessee, PDS has an enrollment of 644 boys in grades PK-6. Eighty-five percent of our teachers are Harvard-trained. PDS has 3,000 alumni and an active alumni association. Each year the Alumni Board presents the PDS Distinguished Alumni award, and past recipients include Joseph R. Pitt Hyde '55, Richard C. Moore Jr. '57, Frederick W. Smith '56 and W. Hampton Sides '74.
