• Emancipet is a non-profit on a mission to make veterinary care affordable and accessible to all pet owners. We believe the love between people and pets is powerful, and worth protecting, so we make it easy and affordable for people to take care of their beloved pets, regardless of how much they make or where they live. To fulfill our mission we are building a national affordable veterinary care system, and sharing our methods and philosophy through Emancipet New School. To build a national affordable veterinary system, we identify communities across the country that lack access to affordable veterinary care. We then build Emancipet Low-Cost Pet Health Clinics in these low-income and underserved areas, and establish community engagement programs to empower and share information with pet owners who are first-time users of veterinary care.There are currently seven clinics in the Emancipet system, located in Texas and Pennsylvania (in Austin, Pflugerville, Killeen, Houston, and Philadelphia).Emancipet New School expands our reach into other communities by identifying change makers within animal welfare, and equipping and inspiring them to create social change in their own communities. Faculty of Emancipet New School offer two-day seminars, private trainings, and longer term customized consulting. Emancipet is on a rapid growth trajectory and is proudly supported by the ASPCA, PetSmart Charities, and a unique partnership with Tito's Handmade Vodka - Vodka for Dog People. http://www.emancipet.org
