The district takes great pride in its 35+ year-old music program. Students of all grades are taught vocal music, learn to play the recorder in third grade, and have the opportunity to move on to a robust and vibrant instrumental music program in grades 4-6. Our visual arts teacher instructs 4th and 5th grade students to build a working knowledge of the elements of art, which are the foundation of artistic perception and creative expression.
