- Autism Action Partnership (AAP), a non-profit organization, is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with autism in the state and their familes through direct support, advocacy and education. Autism Action Partnership co-develops and funds direct support services for individuals diagnosed with autism. AAP collaborates with leading state providers to fund pilot programs, offset costs and provide aid to families for critical diagnostic, behavioral and prescriptive social skill therapies for individuals on the autism spectrum. AAP is teaming with state department of education staff to build a sustainable capacity in our state with the establishment of planning teams, the identification and assessment of needs, the evaluation of outcomes and the development of training plans for teachers, who are working with students diagnosed with autism. AAP also serves as a personal and web-based resource for parents, professionals and community organizations that provide care for individuals diagnosed with autism and their families.
