Pepsico Showdown

Description

• Since its inception in 2003, the PepsiCo Showdown has grown and improved in every area, which is why its considered by many to be the crown jewel each year. The goal from the start has always been to bring different high schools, student-athletes and coaches together to shine on and off the field, while offering everyone the opportunity to get out of their communities to see different areas and economic situations. While the PepsiCo Showdown creates countless on-the-field memories, it is more than just games. One thing we take great pride in is that the PepsiCo Showdown continues to be a resource for charities and fundraisers through Buddy's HELPERS 501 (c)(3), which is the community-service arm of the largest high school soccer tournament in the U.S. Together, the PepsiCo Showdown and Buddy's HELPERS unities Chicago-area high school student-athletes, teachers, families and coaches in an annual campaign built around Making A Difference On AND Off The Field. In 2016, there are 216 high schools and more than 21,500 student-athletes a part of the overall program.Thousands of volunteers have gone above and beyond to ensure the PepsiCo Showdown is a positive experience for every person involved.
