• Blue Cypress Consulting, LLC (Blue Cypress) provides Community Planning and Utility Management services to public, non-profit, and private clients either directly or in partnership with other firms. Blue Cypress helps Community Planning clients build community by developing or fulfilling a vision, creating or enhancing neighborhood plans, and supporting the execution of those plans. We help Utility Management clients optimize water, wastewater, and storm water operations in order to meet or exceed service level commitments to rate payers and regulators. Owner, Caroline Evans: I enjoy planning because I have a vision of a community where people have safe, varied, and affordable housing choices; are friends with their neighbors; have access to public transit; and their children thrive in their school environments. After 14 years at a large A/E firm working on projects, developing business, and managing teams, I started Blue Cypress. I use the skills and knowledge gained there and apply them to make a difference at the community level. Utility Management Consultant, John Evans: My career is primarily focused on optimizing water, wastewater, and stormwater operations. Whether its strategic planning, asset management, enhancing efficiency, developing and implementing proactive regulatory compliance programs, or providing support during enforcement actions, if it involves problem solving and creativity, thats what I love to do.
