Project types include mixed-use development, intentional communities, multifamily and special-needs housing, community and cultural centers, education and civic buildings, aviation, and general commercial developments.CHA is a team of problem solvers, creatives and collaborators. Our thirty person firm has a strong reputation for creating thoughtful solutions to community centered design challenges. The open floor plan of our new downtown office encourages and inspires team work, professional advancement and social interaction. Over three quarters of our staff bikes or takes public transportation on a daily basis and we participate in the Bike Commute Challenge every September. Our team members regularly attend continuing education events and participate in Architects in Schools and design critiques at local universities. We gain inspiration and solve problems through regular project critiques, office wide pin ups and all office gatherings (catered staff meetings, monthly potlucks, happy hours). Our firm is focused, thoughtful, and fast paced. We work diligently to improve the places that people call home. Our staff members have joined CHA out of a sincere interest in working on projects that add value to our communities, and their commitment shows in our work.
