- Proacta's lead drug in development (PR104) is a hypoxia targeted small-molecule prodrug designed to improve the outcome of cancer patients by targeting cancer cells resistant to current treatments, including chemotherapy and radiotherapy. PR104 is being evaluated in a phase I/II clinical trial in patients with relapsed or recurrent Acute Myeloid Leukemia. In addition, Proacta has a strong preclinical program focused on the development of hypoxia selective multi kinase inhibitors. Drugs developed in this program will likely target drug-resistance solid tumor, in particular, drug-resistant Non Small Cell Lung Cancer.
