- Title IX is a non-competitive, running club for girls between ages 9-14, providing physical and mental health education through running and group dialogue. Our model supports a social club environment for girls to learn the fundamentals of the sport and create their own metaphors for life. As research tells us, without this kind of education and interaction, young girls are at a higher risk of compromised mental/emotional health. Theyre also more prone to engaging in high-risk behavior and becoming obese. Recognized by the Cambridge Prevention Coalition as Outstanding Youth Organization of 2009, Title IX Girls Running Club, is having a great affect on these young girls.
