• Cazenovia Recovery Systems, Inc. has provided community residential treatment for individuals in recovery from substance abuse and homelessness for over thirty years. Cazenovia Manor, our first OASAS licensed community residential program, was established in 1980 and remains vital to the greater Western New York community. We also operate a continuum of community residential, treatment and support programs, which include the following: Intensive residential rehabilitation Community residential rehabilitation Housing services (including affordable housing and a housing-first program for chronically homeless individuals with a substance use disorder) Supportive living Specialized residential services in Batavia for homeless veterans, along with a mini-continuum of care in Canandaigua for homeless veterans in (in partnership with the VA, another OASAS provider, and several departments within New York State) This availability of multi-faceted residential services provides an individual with the ability to be admitted into services meeting their individual needs, along with the ability to transfer seamlessly into a less intensive level of care as they make their way to independent living. Alternatively, the resident may take advantage of a higher level of care as needed on their road to long-term recovery.Treatment and service concentration in a residential setting allows the clinical and support staff of Cazenovias programs to engage individuals, not just for an hour a week, but in the place they live, socialize, and experience their hardships, thereby creating continuous teachable moments in their lives. All services are provided within a backdrop of trauma informed care which is continuously being improved and developed in partnership with University of Buffalos Trauma Informed Care Institute.
