    • The CCBD Foundation was founded in 1997 by the Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders (CCBD), to support its mission of improving the education of children and youth with emotional/behavioral disorders (EBD). The Foundation offers financial assistance in the following priority areas:Funding teacher-led projects, programs, and curriculum for students with EBDProviding financial assistance to attend professional development events related to EBDAwarding scholarships for undergraduate and graduate pursuing a career working with students with EBDRecognizing leaders in the fieldTo carry out this mission, the Foundation engages in general fundraising, holds social events at CCBD conferences, and offers a variety of grants and scholarships.
