Now the premier mariachi music festival in the world and the only annual Latino themed event at the Hollywood Bowl for 25 consecutive years, the festival will showcase top Mariachi bands from The USA and Mexico, traditional folkloric dances and the legendary Fireworks display that have made the event a cultural icon in the USA. On its 25th anniversary, the MARIACHI USA Festival, hosted, founded and produced by Rodri J Rodriguez, celebrates the rich mariachi music tradition that many Mexicans take pride in and non-Mexicans embrace as the happy music of the world. The nostalgia and history that explodes with each note of mariachi music brings delight and pride to many Mexicans and Mexican Americans in the United States. Today, it is enjoyed across the world and by countless ethnicities.For 25 years many generations of families and their friends have enjoyed year after year the traditional outdoor summer concert that begins with a picnic on the grounds surrounding the majestic Hollywood Bowl. The half time jam, another MARIACHI USA tradition, kicks-off the American independence festivities, with a special rendition of Yankee Doodle Dandy!
