- EverWonder Children's Museum is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that was formed in January 2011 with the purpose of developing a children's museum in Newtown, CT. In April 2013, we opened The EverWonder Experience, a miniature version of what we hope to offer in the permanent museum. Open to the public free-of-charge most weekends through March 2014. Children are invited to come and participate in science and art activities, as well as to enjoy a hands-on exhibit entitled Cool Moves: The Artistry of Motion. Appropriate for children through age 12. Located at 31 Pecks Lane in Newtown Connecticut. Please visit: www.everwondermuseum.org for current hours and activity schedule.Our mission is to cultivate a lifelong love-of-learning in children by encouraging them to think, inquire, and wonder about the world around them through the use of hands-on exhibits and demonstrations. We strive to be a place where children leave feeling enlightened, inspired, and empowered.
