She maxed out her credit cards and purchased the most powerful PC available at the time, a Compaq 386, with printer, for $10,000. Christines goal was to radically change and improve the methodology for collecting competitive retail prices by implementing scanning technology and electronic data delivery. Christine was recognized as the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year for the state of Virginia in 1998.
