• NutriFresh Services is the east coast's premier HPP Tolling Facility with more than 70 million pounds of annual HPP tolling capacity. It is located within New Jersey Frozen Storage (NJFS), a full-service warehouse with nearly 1.7 million cubic feet of refrigerated and frozen storage (-20 to +40° Fahrenheit). NutriFresh services is the proud owner of two Hiperbaric HPP machines: a 300 and the first 525 to be installed on the East Coast. NutriFresh is conveniently located right off the New jersey Turnpike near Port Newark, Port Elizabeth, Newark Airport, and New York City. Our Mission is to become a one stop shop for food manufacturers while maintaining the highest and safest quality of HPP tolling, packaging, and labeling services. With our commitment to accuracy and efficiency and our state-of-the-art scanning systems, our customers are able to enter orders remotely, monitor the entire process, see each pallet location, and even receive HPP reports, all in real time.What is High Pressure Processing (HPP)? High Pressure Processing (HPP) is an FDA approved method of treating foods and juices to dramatically reduce or eliminate harmful bacteria and extend the shelf life. Because HPP is a non-thermal pasteurization process, it does not materially affect the food itself thereby preserving freshness, taste, and consistency. HPP usually extends the shelf life of raw foods from a few days to 45-90 days. This makes the food stable and easier to transport, hold, store, and sell.
