- We are pleased to inform you that the programming assets of The SEC Institute have been acquired by Practising Law Institute (PLI). We are excited to continue the SEC Institutes 30 year mission of providing the most up-to-date SEC compliance education, through practical workshops and seminars throughout the country. We are pleased to announce that Carol A. Stacey and George M. Wilson will join as Directors of The SEC Institute, a division of PLI, and will lead the workshops and seminars that have made The SEC Institute an industry favorite among public accounting firms and high-level professionals at public companies such as, CFOs, controllers, directors of financial reporting, general counsel, in-house counsel, attorneys, investor relations professionals, audit committee members and other preparers of financial statements. About SEC Institute: Founded in 1983 The SEC Institute has been: helping public companies in the United States and abroad do the best possible job of meeting the filing requirements of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The organization conducts workshops and conferences focusing on SEC and FASB rules and regulations and is considered the gold standard in SEC Compliance education.
