• PREFENSE LASTS / PREFENSE PROTECTS: Prefense Hand and Skin Sanitizer offers an alternative to Alcohol based Gels. Prefense has a unique formulation that bonds to you skin forming a physical barrier between your skin and pathogens found in everyday life. These bonds last up to 24 hours or through 10 hand washing cycles. One application lasts all day. Alcohol based gels work only when wet, you put it on wet and when it dries, its gone, and so is your protection! Prefense goes on wet and when allowed to dry, it protects your skin for up to 24 hours without reapplication. A single 1.5 oz bottle contains 120 doses. A single 2.0 bottle of Alcohol based gel contains 36-38 doses. One 1.5 oz bottle of Prefense is the dose equivalent of 3.3 2.0 oz. bottles of gel based sanitizer. For 24 hour protection, Prefense is applied once a day. Alcohol based gels last about 30 seconds per application. 2880 applications are needed to provide the same amount of protection as one application of Prefense. No one would or would want to apply alcohol based sanitizer to your hands that many times a day, it would cost over $30.00 a day and your hands would resemble something out of a horror film. Prefense costs .05 cents per application / per day. Alcohol based sanitizers are flammable and burn when applied over the top of recent scrapes and skin abrasions. Prefense is soothing and moisturizing to your skin. Prefense is available in 8.0 oz. family size bottles with 640 doses or 1.5 oz. bottles with 120 doses.
