(HMI) is a nonprofit, founded in 1974, whose mission is dedicated to increasing awareness of, and commitment to, Milwaukees history, architecture, and the preservation of our built environment.We are the recognized leader in creating awareness of, and commitment to, Milwaukees history and the preservation of its built environment. We provide this through innovative, responsive programs and strong community, corporate, and civic alliances.
