- Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan and Well Sense Health Plan (our business name outside of Massachusetts) are non-profit managed care organizations serving members across MA and NH. We provide subsidized health insurance coverage to low-to-moderate income individuals, in addition to affordable commercial insurance coverage. BMCHP contracts with over 22,0000 healthcare providers including 90 hospitals across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. BMCHP also offers extras beyond traditional benefits; all members receive discounts on Weight Watchers® and fitness club memberships, plus access to a 24/7 Nurse Advice Line. In 2015, MassHealth and Well Sense Health Plan Medicaid products received a NCQA rating of 4 out of 5. The prior year BMCHP earned the #4 rank among Medicaid plans in the nation in its Medicaid Health Insurance Plan Rankings. Founded in 1997 by Boston Medical Center, we have 600 employees working in the Boston headquarters or in regional offices.
