- Janusphere, as the name suggests, looks to the past for inspiration from the timeless works and traditions of dance and to the future for opportunities to create a unique artistic expression of our world.The Janusphere vision recognizes the importance of the performing arts in enriching the lives of all people and involves the collaborative creation of new works by resident and guest choreographers. Artistic Director Darion Smith has set these primary goals for the company: to explore and create new and lasting dance; to present works that engage a diverse audience; to provide performance opportunities for professional artists and give back to the communities through educational programs in dance. Janusphere draws on the talents of a diverse, exceptional, and growing group of dancers who have performed with top dance companies. The diversity of Januspheres dancers and choreographers makes them an ideal group to achieve the Companys vision.
