• WomenOnCall connects women with short-term, specific volunteer opportunities that allow them to share their personal and professional skills with nonprofits. Through this nationwide, online network as well as live Meet & Match events, women can find organizations whose specific and immediate volunteer needs align with their skills and interests.Volunteering can be done in person or virtually using phone and/or email, and membership is free for both nonprofits and volunteers. Nonprofits gain access to our pool of talented volunteers, and volunteers learn about both local and national skills-based projects. These projects give women the opportunity to hone their skills and expand their networks, while nonprofits can search our database by skill set and geographic location to find the right match for their project. To register as a volunteer, simply log onto www.womenoncall.org and create a profile. Projects that match your skills will be sent directly to the email inbox you designate, and you are welcome to browse through the posted list of current opportunities.To register as a nonprofit, you will need a valid EIN and can create a profile on www.womenoncall.org. When ready to post a project, identify the skills you seek, send the project directly to women with those skill sets and get ready to meet our talented volunteers!
