• BANDWAGON is a secondary ticket marketplace that allows fans to buy and sell tickets with each other. Our main differentiator is the level of data and transparency we provide our users. As a seller, fans simply pick the game that theyre selling tickets to, provide the section, row, and seat(s) and our platform assigns qualitative data to make these seats more attractive to buyers. We add information like, if the seat is in the sun or shade, in a family-friendly section, or home or away team section.Ticketing technology has made modest advancements in the last 100 years as sports teams and venues still use paper tickets as the primary way to access stadiums and arenas. This leaves teams with two major challenges: facilities management of the stadium/arena and fan engagement. As facilities managers, teams often run inefficient concession stands, as predicting demand is hard to do when you dont know who is showing up, let alone their preferences. From a public safety standpoint, it isnt uncommon for teams to have scan failure rates of over 25%, leaving a large blind spot when it comes to first responders, law enforcement, and general crowd management. For fan engagement, teams are unable to tell which of their fans showed up as barcodes are tracked but specific presence is not. This disconnect leads to empty post-game marketing attempts and missed marketing opportunities.Whether it's a matter of better marketing and fan engagement, more efficient operations, or safer arenas and stadiums worldwide, we believe that the platform that we're building will open the door to having better visibility at any and every live event. Because we're building this platform to be event agnostic, we will seamlessly be able to adapt our technology to other geographies and use cases. Right now, we are focused on proving our model, using our college ticket marketplace as the means to gather the data that we will use as inputs to our platform.
