• SoTech Ventures works toward inclusive and sustainable capitalism by partnering with businesses to integrate elements of social enterprise into their existing operating models. OUR PROGRAMS Joint Venture program- SoTech actively engages with startups, SMEs and publicly-traded corporations to acquire business assets and establish mutually beneficial social enterprises. Our team conducts due diligence to determine the most effective and efficient solutions that are currently employed to address the social and environmental issues plaguing our society. We want to understand what solutions are already in the market, what are the metrics of this social or environmental issue, what is the history of how this issue has been addressed, etc. Once a joint venture is established, we tap our network of impact investors, institutional philanthropists and individual donors to fill in the financial gaps. Portfolio Management internship- Working with our portfolio companies and joint venture partners allows our team members to work directly with CEOs, founders, technologists and innovators and learn the best practices in the areas of risk management, brand management, corporate governance, program evaluation and more. SoTech Ventures works with unemployed or underemployed individuals to equip them with high demand skill sets in finance, investments and business management while also gaining experience working with C-suite executives. SETA Membership Network- Part of our work includes growing the capital ecosystem by collaborating with asset owners for the purpose of scaling new financing models that are designed to facilitate inclusive/sustainable capitalism.
