- Putting out fires before they start by making fire everyone's fight!On January 21, 2012, 3 innocent lives were lost in an off campus housing fire at Marist College - my daughter Eva and her friends Kevin and Kerry. One Innocent Life is dedicated to raising awareness about the need for fire safety, making fire everyone's fight! My daughter died because she didn't have a plan for what to do in the event of a fire.From the grief, and from talking with survivors of the same incident, we came up with a shared goal:Together, we will make sure that nobody else is to be in this situation without a plan, that no more innocent lives are lost to fires. - Jeff Block, Founder of One Innocent Life
