- Life Directions' Vision is Peers Inspiring Peers Through Forgiving.Life Directions was born out of the issue of violence. The founders of Life Directions arrived at the intuitive understanding that it was necessary to get to the cause of the violence. As a result, the dynamic vision of Peers Inspiring Peers through Forgiving was forged. This vision of Peers Inspiring Peers through Forgiving was brought to life through a series of onging neighborhood based discussions directed at determining the causes of violence with people who were directly experiencing its effects as well as those who were causing the violence in their communities (e.g. local gangs).Life Directions' Mission is to motivate young adults, ages 13-35, especially the economically poor who are at risk, to mature into responsible, productive adults through self-direction
