• RoosterBio (www.RoosterBio.com) is a Maryland-based biotechnology company founded in 2012 and focused on the simplification of translating Cell Therapy and Tissue Engineering technologies into the clinic and onto the market. Regenerative Medicine is showing great promise in the clinic, but the cost, availability, and standardization of the cellular materials from which researchers can perform experiments and clinical trials is holding the field back.RoosterBio is designing products to help to quicken the pace of research and development to help build a robust and sustainable Regenerative Medicine industry which will lead to more rapid and wide-spread implementation of life saving therapies. Furthermore, the field of Synthetic Biology is providing a framework from which to begin designing standardized biological components, and we are very interested in marrying the fields of Cell and Tissue Engineering with Synthetic Biology in order to further our cause.Our team are experienced leaders in stem cell research, tissue engineering, cell therapy bioprocessing, therapeutic product development, and cell manufacturing operations. We hope to help advance the field of Regenerative Medicine as well as the broader fields of cell-based products and devices by providing robust, high-quality, affordable (cellular) raw materials from which to perform product development experiments. We aim to share the knowledge we have gained over the years with our customers and the greater scientific community as a part of these efforts. In this way we believe that we can make our own little dent in the universe, and help to accelerate the development of what we are calling the Cell-based BioEconomy.
