- My Next Season was co-founded in 2014 by two seasoned executives with the vision of providing a bridge for retiring executives as they transition from corporate careers oriented around productivity, to life seasons anchored in purpose. Because these executives are single-mindedly working intensely on behalf of their employers until the very day they depart the company, they have little-to-no time to plan for this single greatest transition of their adult lives.Co-Founder, Dr. Leslie Braksick, saw this unmet need play out with hundreds of executives over her two decades-plus career as an executive advisor to the senior most leaders of the Fortune 100. Co-Founder, Mark Linsz, observed the same trend while serving nearly three decades as a Fortune 10 corporate executive. Both shared a strong desire to create a company that would positively impact the lives of transitioning executives, the companies they were retiring from, and the communities in which they live. At the company level, My Next Season partners with Chief Human Resource Officers to help them customize an approach to transition support. My Next Season understands and embraces each unique set of circumstances, and we work with HR to create fit-for-purpose solutions at the company and/or individual level.At the individual level, executives are matched with a personal My Next Season Advisor who provides 1:1 support using My Next Season online tools, The My Next Season Workbook, and additional readings. The Advisor also draws upon his/her own experience as a previously transitioned executive. Once clarity and a plan are achieved for whats next, executives transition more smoothly and find fulfillment more quickly in their first next season. Additionally, the company experiences huge retention benefits when those who remain see their coworkers so deeply respected and actively cared for, even at the end of their careers.
