- Bright Wood has grown considerably since our humble beginnings in 1960. All we had back then was an old planer shed with three walls, one rip saw, one cut off saw, a planer, and three founders with an unwavering vision. Today we are one of the world's largest secondary lumber remanufacturers. Sixty percent of our current product lines are components for wood window and doors; domestic interior and exterior mouldings and millwork products account for another 35 percent; specialty products for both foreign and domestic customers make up the remaining 5 percent.We may look very different than we did in 1960 but the essentials remain constant: We are still a family-owned business with pride in our record for quality, innovation, on-time delivery, and dedication to customers and suppliers.
