• The Cannabis industry as it stands is comprised of less than 1% people of color. CCA plans on changing the current state of the industry. The CCA wants to bring diversity to the cause and empower people of color to be a part of a budding industry. The communities of color need to be involved in this industry not only for retribution for the wrongs done by the war on drugs. All cultures have used Cannabis now its time to bring innovation and education to the cause. Cannabis Cultural Association hosts an informative monthly meet up to get the conversation going and begin the discussion amongst people of color of all ages to help one another to network as we make an impact in this industry. Knowledge is power and providing the best content is a way to empower people to make a change. Our meetings are to open to all people who wish to learn more about the industry and share their knowledge to help one another. Along with our monthly informative meet up the CCA will host an invite-only, business development workshop. Fund for equal Access: A portion of ticket sales, merchandise and donations will go to a fund for POC start-ups. The fund will be equity free, and given away to recipients twice a year. We will hold a pitch night where Cannabis Startups will present their company, and our panel of judges will decide who wins the money. All we ask is the winner give us thanks on their social media accounts.
