• Wick Buildings, Inc. is a privately held Wisconsin company founded in 1954 by John F. Wick. John Wick is a Wisconsin native and graduate of the University of WisconsinMadison with a background in agriculture and advanced schooling in business and engineering. In the early days, the post-frame buildings were used mainly on farms in the Midwest as replacement for the two-story dairy barn.Today, Wick Buildings consist of a wood-frame structure covered with sheet steel and/or other exterior materials such as brick and block. Clear span trusses up to 100 feet in width are fabricated. Siding, roofing, liners and trim are formed and cut from rolled steel at Wicks production facilities. These components, together with the necessary pre-cut lumber, doors, windows and a variety of options, are loaded on semi-trailers and delivered to the buyers site.
