- César Castillo Inc. is a fourth-generation, family-owned company that is celebrating its 70th year of doing business in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Since establishing the business in February 1942, our founder César Castillo-Pietri had a vision for the company: to become the largest distributor of health, beauty care and consumer products on the island and the Caribbean. A Puerto Rican entrepreneur, Castillo-Pietri believed the company would successfully fill a pressing need at the time for quality and necessary services. Today, that vision is a reality. CCIs long-standing history is rich with milestones that have formed our company into what it is today: a lean operation dedicated to offering comprehensive, state-of-the-art distribution and logistics services to some of the worlds biggest pharmaceutical, medical devices and consumer goods companies with presence in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. In our early days, we focused our efforts on distributing products to retail pharmacies, which continue to represent a significant portion of our business. Today, CCI handles more than $90 million in assets under management throughout our distribution network.
