• The Queens Cup is held on the grounds of Brooklandwood Racecourse, in Historic Mineral Springs, NC which prides itself on providing first class racing in a unique and inspiring setting. Sponsors and racegoers alike over the years have enjoyed not only fantastic hospitality and scenery but horseracing of the highest order.Attending the Queens Cup is a wonderful way to ring in spring! The Queens Cup is Always the last Saturday in April, when the weather in Charlotte is typically warm, and the flowers are in bloom, fragrantly scenting the air. Steeplechasing is more than a sport its a sport with a heart. The Queens Cup Steeplechase, produced by the Charlotte Steeplechase Association, Inc., (CSA) is a federally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to produce an annual steeplechase horse racing event benefitting local and regional charities who are involved in assisting CSA produce the Queens Cup. Thanks to your support and the help of over 300 wonderful volunteers, CSA, since 1995, has donated over $470,000 to local and regional charities.This year, the chosen charity is Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Central & Western North Carolina http://www.ncwish.org/.
