Weve been a vital part of New Yorkers lives since 1893, with a tradition of vision and action that has taken our industry in new and important directions. In 2015, we served more than 150,000 patients in the five boroughs of New York City, as well as Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester Counties. Our patients range from newborns to the oldest of the elderly (100+), and reflect the socio-economic and cultural diversity of the New York metro area. VNSNYs core services include skilled nursing, rehabilitation therapy, social work, and personal care services. These charitable care dollars also went to pay for medications for the neediest; wigs for cancer patients, and home-safety items for the frail elderly.
