• The Genocide Report is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit and non-government human rights advocacy and education organization. We are committed to the Responsibility to Protect populations from genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity and ethnic cleansing. Our purpose is to increase awareness through education, to advocate for and provide assistance to the victims and to continue to press for the perpetrators to be held accountable in accordance with the Genocide Convention. The Genocide Report supports the principles set forth in the 1951 United Nations Convention relating to the Status of Refugees and its 1967 Protocol. We work to ensure that everyone can exercise the right to seek asylum and to find safe refuge in another State and to return home voluntarily. We oppose forced deportation for any reason, and believe that it is counter to international law. We encourage States and other institutions to create conditions which are favorable to the protection of human rights and peaceful resolutions of disputes. Peaceful resolution is always the preferred path. The Genocide Report consists of individuals, professionals including educators, lawyers, physicians, journalists and country experts working together to make a difference. We partner and collaborate with other non-profit organizations, human rights groups, and international non-governmental organizations throughout the world who advocate for the protection of human rights for all people regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation or religion. The Genocide Report is recognized for its educational resources, accurate research, impartial reporting, and publishes independent reports and briefings on mass atrocities and genocide conditions; generating extensive coverage in local and international media. Our concerted awareness efforts and advocacy press for changes in policy and for practices that adhere to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights around the world.
