- Workshop/APD is an architectural design firm specializing in luxury single-family home design, hospitality, and high-end commercial development. We actively leverage our experience to solve design challenges with innovative solutions that incorporate modern ideals/methods toward a signature aesthetic.We aren't bound by project type or a singular aesthetic, and we are committed to work that is creative, innovative, and intelligent. Workshop/APD recently completed the prestigious Printing House residence located in NYC's West Village and the firm has won a variety of awards ranging from 2015 Best Westchester Home, 2014 Top 50 New York Metro Designers, 2012 Best New Design Award in Brooklyn from the Chamber of Commerce for its innovative LEED Platinum design transformation of the Brooklyn Navy Yards BLDG92; and was included in Residential Architects 15 Architects to Watch. In 2006, the firm won top honors in the Sustainable Design Competition for New Orleans, sponsored by Brad Pitt and Global Green USA. The eco-friendly project broke ground in May, 2007 and has been a catalyst for responsible Gulf Coast rebuilding. Workshop/APDs designs can be seen in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Departures, Fast Company, Interior Design and other lifestyle, business and design publications.
