• Waters & Bridgman Marketing Solutions Hampton Roads longest-standing, full-service advertising, marketing and public relations firm was established in 1960 by the late Leonard R. Waters as Waters Advertising Agency. Since then, we have launched tours, elected congressmen, and opened department stores, theaters and shopping centers. We have organized associations, calmed labor unions, sold cars, promoted municipalities, presented art shows, taught seminars, prompted the press, and promoted health care. Weve put words in peoples mouths, hats on their heads, hands over their hearts, and money in their pockets. In the fall of 1986 Waters Advertising moved into their own building in Oyster Point of Newport News, directly across from what is now the very busy City Center at Oyster Point. In 2003 a major interest in the Agency was sold and by 2004 a new partnership was created: Collins, Waters & Bridgman. In 2012, Howard Waters again became the majority owner and Waters & Bridgman Marketing Solutions seamlessly began the current partnership with long-time marketing executive, Sandy Bridgman. While the name has changed, the philosophy of creating client success has not. Today W&B is proud to still be representing some of the most prestigious businesses in Greater Hampton Roads. Our goal is to continue our expansion but never to grow past the point where our pricipals can have an integral, day-to-day role in the success of our clients. Thats how the agency has thrived for over 50 years and that commitment is what has allowed us to maintain our longevity and financial stability in an industry often not known for either.
