- Welcome to Three Oaks Engineering. We are a woman-owned business focused on helping our clients accomplish infrastructure projects with careful consideration of community and environmental needs. With experience on a wide range of projects across the Southeast, coupled with a positive approach and commitment to each client, Three Oaks offers superior, cost-effective, and efficient services. We have offices in Durham, NC, and Columbia, SC, and are a certified disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) with the North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia state departments of transportation. Services- NEPA document preparation- Environmental permitting- Natural resource investigations- Aquatic surveys (freshwater mussels, freshwater fish, benthic macroinvertebrates, water quality & SAV)- Essential fish habitat analysis - Mitigation site planning- Construction environmental compliance monitoring- Public engagement, including Spanish translation- Community impact assessment- Traffic noise analysis- Soils & wastewater (perc tests, wastewater systems, hydric & stormwater soil evaluations)Core Values: Sustainability Our name honors the oak tree, a symbol of strength and longevity.
