- RoMan Engineering Services was started in January of 2001 and is based in the Detroit area (Livonia, Michigan). RES provides multiple services to the welding industry.RES currently has approximately 35 employees of which 20 are welding engineers. They are supported by electrical and manufacturing engineers, along with technicians. RES assists manufacturers with arc, resistance, laser, and other welding applications.Our strength as a company is the ability to take an entire program from A-Z and support all aspects of welding.
