Discover a new freedom on our award-winning Colgate 26 sailboats and fleet of 40' to 50' cruising monohulls and catamaran yachts at seven sailing school locations in Florida, the British Virgin Islands, New York and New Jersey.Offshore Sailing School employs expert, US Sailing-certified instructors. In addition to introductory and certification courses, the company offers team building and leadership programs for corporations and groups. Certification courses include: Learn to Sail Courses, Offshores unique Fast Track to Cruising® Courses, racing, passage making and many more advanced sailing courses and power courses for all skill levels. Offshore Sailing School, founded in 1964 by Olympian, America's Cup sailor, and National Sailing Hall of Fame inductee, Steve Colgate, has taught more than 130,000 adults and their families to sail or sail better. Resort-based locations are in the British Virgin Islands at Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina on Scrub Island and The Moorings on Tortola; in Florida at South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island, Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina on Ft. Myers Beach, and Hampton Inn & Suites in downtown St. Petersburg. Two locations on the Hudson River service metropolitan residents at Liberty Landing Marina in Jersey City, NJ and North Cove Marina in Battery Park City, New York.
