• ABOUT THE SDA The New Jersey Schools Development Authority (SDA) is responsible for the delivery of high-quality educational facilities that best meet the needs of the students of the State of New Jersey. While providing efficiently designed facilities that enhance the academic environment, SDA promotes fiscal responsibility in the management of taxpayers resources.The SDA manages the design and construction of school facilities projects in New Jerseys 32 SDA Districts. The SDA is responsible for financing 100% of the costs in SDA Districts. The SDA also provides grants of at least 40 percent of the eligible costs to New Jerseys Regular Operating Districts.
