These founders engaged the design services of Donald Ross, arguably golfs foremost architect. Ross designed a spectacular course calling for long, accurate tee shots, accurate iron play, precise handling of the short game and consistent putting. Its distinguishing feature is its small TifEagle greens, protected by many strategically placed bunkers. The Country Club of Columbus is well recognized for its outstanding Tennis facility and programs. Featuring (11) courts ten Rubico and one all-weather court there is always plenty of availability for court time. With all courts lighted for night play and no reservations necessary, the Club makes it a breeze to play as much tennis as you and your family desire! Our gorgeous Tennis Clubhouse features a top-of-the-line Pro Shop, beautiful Locker Room facilities, a bright, inviting Players Lounge, and an expansive Viewing Deck overlooking the courts. The Tennis Shop offers all the services you need to take your game to the top.The Country Club of Columbus is also a Southern Tradition for the most beautiful weddings in Columbus. Brides are welcome to schedule an appointment and tour the clubhouse to book their reception, rehearsal, or shower at the club.
