    • The Social Engineering Project, Inc. is a Google funded social impact venture with Stanford University designed to address the lack of diversity in the tech industry through pipeline programs for underrepresented youth. The Tech Industry's Problem In todays world, racial, gender, and economic equity are indispensable social goods with uneven distribution. The Social Engineering Project (TSEP) strives to help the technology sector achieve better parity, fairness, and inclusion to truly become the revolutionary sphere that it can be. The Solution 1) Stream Develop a robust pipeline of young diverse men and women interested in technological careers. We partner with Stanford University and Google to provide quality programming to motivate and inspire youth to pursue STEM related careers. 2) Connect Connect tech companies with diverse colleges and universities that produce academically prepared talent upon graduation and/or certification. Culturally prepare these students to enter tech companies immediately. 3) Rediscover Change the cultural astigmatism that exists in tech companies regarding adults over 30 years old. Retrain those suffering from age discrimination who have worked in other careers to enter the technology sector. 4) Network Teach diverse people the power of networking so that they have the same tools, access to capital, and other resources as their non-diverse counterparts.
