• Yankee Publishing Inc. (YPI) is family-owned, independent media company based in Dublin, New Hampshire. The company manages two nationally known media brands, Yankee Magazine and The Old Farmers Almanac.In December 2012, YPI acquired the assets of McLean Communications, which publishes New Hampshire Magazine, New Hampshire Business Review, Parenting New Hampshire, New Hampshire Home, and a variety of custom publications. McLean operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of YPI and is based in Manchester, New Hampshire. YPI now employs a staff of 82 people. Founded in 1935, Yankee is the only magazine devoted to New England through its coverage of travel, home, food, and feature stories.In 2014, Yankee was named a finalist for Photography and Excellence in Writing by the National City and Regional Magazine Association. In 2013, Yankee Magazine won the Photography category for the national City and Regional Magazine Association's (CRMA) annual awards. Yankee was named a finalist for the Column category, and Photography. The Old Farmers Almanac has been delighting readers since 1792. Always useful, with a pleasant degree of humor, it is known for its advice relating to home, garden, and food, as well as for its 80 percentaccurate weather forecasts.
