• Ascend Mental Health is a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program licensed by the Maryland Department of Mental Health and Hygiene. Ascend's PRP program provides structured individual and group activities which are tailored for addressing the needs of our clients. We specialize in assisting individuals who are at risk of being removed from their homes, schools or other settings and we provide alternatives to hospitalization. We also assist individuals with the transition back into the community after periods of hospitalization. We specialize in providing: Social Skills Self Care Skills Anger Management Independent/Community Living Illness Management Substance Abuse Prevention Located in Baltimore, Maryland, Ascend serves Baltimore City, Baltimore County and surrounding areas. Our staff consists of licensed clinical professionals who specialize in providing individual and group rehabilitation and have a passion for serving others. We serve children and young adults with various levels of mental and behavioral challenges. Ascend provides support and training to our clients in their homes, communities, schools, work and social environments. We work with our clients families and support system to establish goals for treatment and work together to monitor progress.
