Pen Ryn School

Description

• The Pen Ryn School is a private Pre K3 through 8th Grade school that functions with mutual respect, support and enthusiasm in a nurturing atmosphere. Parents, teachers, administrators and alumni strive to build a strong academic environment. Students can then grow with loving care, and gain self-respect and confidence. At the core of Pen Ryn is the individualized nature of each childs education. Pen Ryn believes in educating the whole child and recognizes the importance of integrating art, music, athletics and citizenship as part of the curriculum in addition to core academic subjects. Our academics, combined with our small class sizes, foster an intimate learning environment, whereby teachers are able to nurture each child as an individual learner. By working together, our teachers make learning relevant, harnessing the intellectual curiosity of our students and believing unequivocally in the limitless potential of young people so that they can believe fully in themselves. Our Mission: Nurture, Empower, Encourage Nurture Students in a safe, caring environment, where the curriculum considers individual needs and encourages the pursuit of educational excellence at each students potential. Empower Students with the essential skills necessary to become an independent critical thinker and life-long learner. Encourage Respect for oneself and others, while contributing to the community as a productive and responsible citizen.
