The overall program goals for Beacon Specialized Living Services are to provide the opportunity for each consumer to move to the least restrictive environment possible by providing supervision, care, protection, and life-skills training while adhering to JCAHO standards. Beacon Specialized Living Services serves developmentally disabled, mentally ill and autistic adults in a behavioral healthcare setting. Our assisted living facilities offer JCAHO-accredited short-term care and specialized residential care in urban, rural and apartment settings. The goal of all our programs is to help the residents gain the necessary life skills that will help them move forward and eventually achieve independent living.
