As a not-for profit organization, we truly operate for the well being of our members. Unlike customers who just use the services of a financial institution, credit union members become part owners. And any profit generated is automatically put back into Valley Federal Credit Union to pay dividends, build reserves, and pay operating expenses. In that way, being a part of a credit union is really more like being a part of a close-knit family one that functions for the betterment of all parties involved.
